NSS Unit-I & II
Two number of NSS units are functioning. The first NSS unit was inaugurated in our Polytechnic in the month of June 1997 with the DTE’s approval vide DTE’s Letter No.7570/Z/NSS/197 dated 26.05.1997. The Second Unit of NSS has been functioning from the academic year 2003 - 04 with the approval of DTE.
Various Blood Donation camps are conducted under the guidance of the doctors of Tirunelveli Medical College and doctors of District Head Quarters Government Hospitals, Tenkasi in various academic years are note worthy.

Canada India Institutional Cooperation Project is a major human resource development project , Having started in our college in the year 2010 ,CIICP has been functioning well in our institution till date.
We aspire to organize best quality and competency based training programmes that fulfill the requirements of the work place by means of different but convenient delivery modes. By the end of the year 2010 more than 500 students were benefited and certified, and have placed in various companies in specific field, we have also conducted Mason Training programme for the rural area people to impart the knowledge, and it was a great success.

Sportsmanship is an attitude that strives for fair play, courtesy toward teammates and opponents, ethical behaviour and integrity, and grace in victory or defeat Sportsmanship expresses an aspiration or ethos that the activity will be enjoyed for its own sake.
We vow to develop the students mentally and physically. We have well laid courts for Football, Volleyball, Cricket, kabadi, Badminton, Table Tennis, GYM and many other outdoor & indoor games.

ISTE chapter was inaugurated in our college in the year 2010 with the presence of Prof.N.R.Shetty,president ISTE New Delhi (Vice president of International Federation of Engg .Education Socities,USA Chairman ,National Advisory Committee,Dept.of science and tech, Govt of India, Former vice chancellor of Bangalore University) Dr.S.Basil Gnanappa,ph.d, Vice president,ISTE(Principal, C.S.I Institute of Technology),its main goal is to serve as a common agency for stimulating and guiding its members to formulate the general goals and responsibilities of technical education for the service of mankind and the advancement of general welfare.
